Introduction: What is wellness?
A lot of people have discarded the word wellness, even though it has been utilized in a variety of ways over the years. But, many especially those who utilized it in the past, consider wellness to be a positive lifestyle choice in order to live healthy, happy and live a happy life. The term wellness, first coined by Halbert L. Dunn in 1950, isn’t widely understood by promoters or advocates. It is applicable to issues like prevention of alternative medicine, spa business as well as product marketing and many other areas that are not related.

However, since there are so many medical professionals, entrepreneurs as well as alternative medicine advocates and spa advocates have adopted the word to represent their own interests that are different from mine like the actress Gwyneth Paltrow, I made the decision years ago to establish an identity that would promote authentic health.
To distinguish my efforts to promote a positive approach of positive well-being that is that is based on the true nature and logical aspects I have added the word “REAL” to the word wellness. Real is an acronym. The letters R-E-A-L symbolize enthusiasm, reason and athleticism.
What makes this type of health different?
Real wellness involves positive outlooks, possibilities and strategies to improve the living quality. Anything that is cost-effective within corporate wellness programs are beneficial. This includes risk reduction and medical management, prevention, and other ways to minimize risk. It is important not to misinterpret these services with real health and wellness. The latter focuses on the absence of diseases, disorders and discontents.
Real wellness is all about continual progress and learning to improve your life by focusing on subjects, like happiness, positive emotions and the meaning of life happiness, love and a logical approach to decision-making and a growing freedom for personal growth. It’s about living the life you want to live and keeping a healthy body and mind.
Don’t settle for devices, diets or other excessive exercise if you’re planning to put in the your time and energy looking after yourself.
The protection of the integrity and the meaning of the concept
I am sure you will agree with my opinion that other wellness-related uses that don’t include the word “r” are likely to be fake wellness. I am happy to declare that the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted me a trademark registered for the term “Real Wellness” (r).
Dr. Grant Donovan of Australia was the first person I spoke to regarding the awarding of the REAL wellness trademark. He is the Halbert L. Dunn of Australia, who was the one who promoted wellness in Australia’s 1980s and 90s in the Downunder region and has been a loyal friend since. Here’s the message he sent me in a thank you email:
In a continuum of time the word wellness has become a popular marketing term used by all kinds of individuals including resort owners, spa promoters to tour companies. It’s difficult to come across a more oppressive word in any spoken language. In a random , meaningless world where everyone has a chance to be here I see a healthy life style as not a means to live longer and prolong life, but to ensure that people do not end up dying. This isn’t true wellness.
It’s good to get your health back in order. I’m hoping that real health and wellness will help certain people find a pleasurable alternative to the depths.
Don’t be fooled by those who offer products and services. There is no way to attain a level of well-being that is beyond what is offered to most people. True wellness is what you require to perform at your highest level that is, to win in every way you can.
