                Thank you for the fellowship and support that you all provided to my mother during her time at Zion. She spoke of your community warmly and often. I know you offered her comfort during her last months and throughout her illness. It was also comforting to her family to know she had your love and support.

Zion Search Committee Update

The Zion Search Committee is meeting on a weekly basis and we have reviewed 51 candidate resumes so far. We continue to conduct phone interviews and personal interviews when the review of the candidate’s resume indicates he/she might be a good fit for our church. We have interviewed some promising candidates and we continue our search. When we do decide on a candidate we will present his/her credentials to the Consistory. If the Consistory agrees with our recommendation, the candidate will be introduced to the congregation, the candidate will conduct a Sunday service, and the congregation will have the final vote on the candidate.

Zion Book Group

The next meeting of the Zion Book Club will be at 7:30 pm, Wednesday, July 21 at the home of Sue Graff. The book will be “Crossing Oceans” by Gina Holmes. This dramatic, emotional, faith-based novel is about a prodigal daughter who seeks forgiveness on an unforgiving deadline. Please join us for lively discussion and deepening friendships! A light snack is provided.
