Pastoral Relations

For communication between the congregation and the pastor. Meets quarterly or as needed.

Music

Responsible to support and give direction to music programs, plus special music events in cooperation with music staff. Deals with concerns brought up by organist and choir director. Meets monthly.

Properties

Responsible to all maintenance of church buildings and grounds. Considers requests for use of church facilities (weddings, non-church meetings) in cooperation with pastor. Meets every month or as needed.

Responsible for inside decorating. Meets as needed.

Responsible for maintaining the historical room, research items as requested, add items to the room.

Church Growth

Responsible for helping our church to grow by planning outreach events such as pancake breakfasts and bus trips to a dinner theater. They also schedule speakers for Sunday service. Responsible for the name tags for parishioners. Prepare the yearly event calendar. Meets monthly.

Publicity

Responsible for getting our church programs and the message of our church out into the local community.   Local advertising includes TV, radio and newspaper. The publicity person meets as part of the Growth Committee.
